DGCA-Approved CAR 147 AME Training Course

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course is only a License training program and its curriculum is necessarily designed by under the strict authority and approval of  Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India.

 Conditions For Entering DGCA

As one of the leading DGCA Approved AME Institutes, IIA  offers  AME courses for students post  10+2, who secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and are eligible for admission.

The Minimum age at the time of admission is  16 years and  Diploma candidates having completed their course in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics are also welcome.

For pursuing Part 147 Aircraft Maintenance Program, the candidate has to obtain, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Admission in any  Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Colleges In India.

Post completion of Basic AME Course (1 year for Cat A or 2 years for Cat B) successfully, the students must complete Actual Maintenance Experience (1 Year for Category A & 2 years for Category B). After completing  2-year Basic Training (For Category B1.1) the students are awarded the Certificate of Recognition issued by DGCA. The candidate has then to undergo 2 years of Actual Maintenance Experience in an Airline/ Maintenance Organisation to gain practical experience, which will enable him to acquire Cat B1 license issued by DGCA, Govt. of India.
