DGCA approved courses includes
Category A1- Line Maintenance
Line maintenance activities are mostly carried out during normal turnaround or transit periods. AME professionals holding Cat A license carry out visual inspection along with minor services like refeulling, tyre pressure checks, hydraulic checks etc after which they are authorised to issue ‘CRS’ (Certificate of Release to Service) to an aircraft after minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectifications.
Category B1.1- Base Maintenance
Major Maintenance Licence includes all the privileges of Category A1. After undergoing a Type Rating for a particular aircraft (For eg, Airbus, Boeing series) one becomes an authorised Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to cover maintenance, troubleshooting, replacement or repair of the structure, engine, mechanical, electrical or Hydraulic components for that particular type of aircraft.

Practical training is conducted In-house and at the training partner facilities based at Indamer Aviation & Air India Engineering Services Limited, IGI Airport, New Delhi.
